Food Worth The Hype
Rustic Italian: Angelina’s Italian Kitchen $$$
Family-owned and operated for over 20 years, Angelina’s Italian Kitchen is a beloved Lake Havasu institution. Founded by the late Jerry Grippo and named after his Great Aunt from Avellino, Italy, Angelina’s has become a cherished gathering place for both locals and visitors. Each dish at Angelina’s is made from scratch daily using the finest ingredients. Christina and Richie start before sunrise, crafting flavorful meals to order. Whether you’re craving timeless classics like Lasagna, Veal Parmigiana, or Chicken Marsala, or feeling adventurous with Cioppino and Pasta or Grilled Salmon with Spaghetti Squash, there’s something for everyone.
Note: This is slow, made from scratch, authentic dining at its finest. Best to try on a night you are not in a rush.

Great food and a view: Burgers By The Bridge $$
Harriet McLearen, along with her son Jake Holley, opened Burgers by the Bridge in March 2014. Longtime water lovers, they found the perfect spot—right at the edge of the iconic London Bridge, with a beautiful view of the channel. Harriet, well-known in Lake Havasu for her successful food concession business, wanted to create a place that offered fresh, homemade food in a fun, welcoming environment. That vision became reality with Burgers by the Bridge—a casual, feel-good hangout where the staff is always in a great mood and the vibe is upbeat and friendly. You order at the counter, then sit back and relax while your food is brought to you. With a full bar and unbeatable views, it’s the perfect spot to grab a bite and soak up the Havasu scene.
Note: Great for the whole family. Also if going with friends and you don’t want to worry about spitting the check. Everyone orders at the counter. The wait can be long so go early if possible.

Best kept secret – Chico’s Tacos $
This local gem is hidden in the Ross Dress For Less shopping center. It doesn’t look like much on the outside, but just wait! Offers authentic flavorful Mexican fare using fresh ingredients and boasts a salsa bar with five homemade salsas ranging from mild to hot. Everything here is so good and the service is quick and friendly. Great for dining in or taking to go.
Note: This place is quieter than many Mexican restaurants and the bar is on the other side making the family area perfect for kids. They do not mind special requests.
